20px;\">A thermistor is a resistive device composed of metal oxides formed into a bead and encapsulated in epoxy or glass.\u00a0 A typical thermistor shows a large negative temperature coefficient.\u00a0 Resistance drops dramatically and non-linearly with temperature.\u00a0 Sensitivity is many times that of RTDs but useful temperature range is limited.\u00a0 Although rare, thermistors are also available with positive temperature coefficients.\u00a0 Linearized models are also
